Did you hack into my personal journal?! This entire post is so perfectly spot on to how I feel about nomading, particularly the niggles section (which is what has ultimately made my decision settle down). I've definitely lost the game of accommodation roulette so many more times than I've won — your 24-hour cancellation hack is genius! Great post, and reassuring that I'm not alone in these nomading-induced mood swings 🙂
Listened to you read through and enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your tips and reflections, this brought me closer to the day to day life of a nomad 🧘🏻♂️
Cheers Becky, had a lot of fun writing this one. I didn't have to do any research for it; just lots of conversations with Corina to try to remember certain details. I think it shows how certain personal memoir-style essays can, when the conditions are right, just fall onto the page straight from your memory.
Nailed it on the head Harrison. In my relatively short life as a nomad I've gone through all of these seasons. Makes me wonder if and/or how to only live in the ones I like (the same way I only travel to places that have a summer climate)? But then again, maybe each one is a necessary part of the never-ending journey.
Cheers Michael. Yeah I suspect it is. Me and Corina were saying this morning: when deciding on where to go (or even whether to become nomadic at all), instead of asking "Where will I be most happy?" people are better off asking "Where's the best place I can be while I sort out my problems" haha.

Thank you Aleks !
Love it!! And the title nailed it
Thanks Kyle, and thanks for your help with it
Fantastic writing. Fantastic read.
Well done Harrison.
Cheers Ian 🍻
So good. Love how this evolved from the idea phase, even your 4 N's have morphed! I've got to say I love the word "niggles" the most.

Great job Harrison - more of this please! (and glad I could offer a useful nudge :D)
👌 Thanks Rahul
What a fact packed read, Harrison. I hope I remember that 2+28 booking routine.
Genius!
Yeah I hope Booking doesn’t catch on! 🫣

Thanks Jen! Do you travel/are you a nomad yourself?
