I'm also not sure it's possible to trust another person completely. Like you, even people who I know rationally I can trust, I still, from time to time, don't.
And, a question for you, why 27 items on your list? Thoughtful rebellion abounds in more than just the things you shared!
Why 27? Ha. Honestly because I found it really hard defining things I do not know, particularly things that I felt were thought-provoking enough to publish. It was harder than I expected. And once I felt I had a decent enough list I chose to ship it instead of letting it sit and gather dust.
What about you Sarah? What are some things you don’t know?
I’ve been thinking about the question of things I don’t know and perhaps the loudest of them all is what will this time next year look like. And, I don’t know. Sarah of 10 years ago would have needed a plan. But now, I’m okay not knowing.
What a great list! I am in the middle of drafting something about the opposite at the moment; about how we often know more than we think we know, when I noticed this in my inbox. I feel inspired to write my own list, starting with your last point: I don't know what I don't know (trusting that I'll discover quite a few things during the process)
An experience with a coaching client + a moment when I sat down to journal about how I still haven’t figured out how to move from insight to action, only to end up with a long list of things I do know that help me take action.
#2 got me thinking.

The trust thing is big. Super interesting.

I’m glad you chose to ship it!

Well, what would you most like next year to look like?
Working on it!
I really enjoyed reading your list Harrison. It gives me more insight into who you are and your humor shines through.
❤️

Thanks Hanna. Do share your post when you've published it. What prompted you to write it? I'm curious
