This is such a brilliant, thoughtful piece of writing Harrison. I can relate as someone who has always been multi-passionate and as someone who has tried out a number of careers, each of which I thought would be the ONE.
Today my feeling is that we live in a time where it's possible to have multiple careers because most of us will live 70+ years and those years will be, mostly, in good health. The work I'm doing currently satisfies some important needs, in particular, understanding complex human beings and helping their businesses thrive. Will I be doing this in 10 years? Not sure.
Still not fully tapped into my creative expression and not being as playful as I'd like to be. So I can see what I'm doing evolving into something different.
