"Very often, big change happens outwardly in a flash and appears brash and abrupt to everyone around you. But that’s because nobody’s seen the incremental pressure and leverage building up—the courage you’ve been stockpiling in order to make the change." - so poignantly articulated!
Yes! This is my fourth cohort. My first one was Fall 2021 and it changed a lot for me. It put my writing on a track for improvement and the community gave me the confidence and encouragement to keep going.
I’ve mentored two cohorts since and this time around I opted to be an editor so I could give more hands on feedback (and get better at self-editing in the process).
P.S. I lived in London from 2014-16 so I remember Primrose hill fondly! :)
Oh coool. London was and is our home still. We miss it. In fact, we were saying the other day that we don't miss anywhere like we miss London. And that view from Primrose Hill! Special place.
Cohort 4?! Oh I'm already scheming on how I can get the dosh together to come back next time, haha! Are they twice yearly?
Harrison DAAAAMNNNN! Mic drop! I almost couldn't read this fast enough I was so excited to see where you were going with it. It is so beautifully written and I know so many will resonate with it. Well done. 🙏🏻
Harrison, I know I said it before, but let me say it again. Not a lot of people think and feel the way you do after losing a friend, but I wish more people did. Great job, mate. I'm really proud of how you transformed this piece into something special.
Aw mate, seriously I'm feeling emotional reading your message. This WOP community is the best thing I've ever signed up for. Thank you for your time and help with this piece Linart
This turned out excellent!

Thank you Lavinia, couldn't have written this without your feedback!
Incredible work in capturing your thoughts. This was a joy to read.
To Linart's point, "Not a lot of people think and feel the way you do after losing a friend, but I wish more people did."
Thank you for putting this story into the world Harrison.
Thank you Anthony, it means a lot you taking the time to share that :) And thanks again for your draft feedback
“I was walking through London’s Primrose Hill in the dark.”
Love this line, the contrast and imagery is the perfect metaphor for the nature of the call (no pun intended)!
This whole piece turned out so well. Awesome job!!! 👏🏼
Thank you Alexandra, isn't WOP incredible? The community and the encouragement is amazing, absolutely amazing

Thank you so much Heather, really. Encouragement is incredible at WOP
Ah, I remember Tom fondly. His intensity fascinated me.
