There is a large sub-culture of people who love to watch videos of gory medical procedures. There are doctors who probably make more money from the videos they share than they do from their medical practice. Yes the world is a strange, strange place.

Made me think of the Jackson Lamb character in Mick Herron's "Slow Horses" books. He sits in his office and repairs his holey, and rather ripe, socks with duct tape.
