Hey Ian, great question! I'm afraid I don't know. That should've been the very next question I asked Jim when he told me that story, but I didn't think about it at the time 🤦♂️
I do know that Jim's biggest project when I was there was designing and building flat-packed luxury holiday villas destined to be built along the shorelines of various remote south-east Asian islands, and that laser-cutters like the one in the story (I think Jim probably ended up owning more than one cutter) would've been integral to the project because of their ability to do in minutes what would've taken a person hours.
